Best Books from 2021
With the start of 2022 I thought I would look back at the books I read last year. The books below are the ones that had the most impact on me throughout the year. I would highly recommend taking the time to read or listen to any of these.
The Ambitious Photographer’s Journal by Jeff Brown
I have know Jeff for about a year now, and I purchased his book as soon as it came out! This book is full of planning information, goal tracking and looking at collaborations. A definite book on my list of one to get as a Photographer.
The unexpected joy of the ordinary by Catherine Gray
Wow what a book. If you find yourself becoming a little disgruntled with life and not appreciating it as much as you should. Then this is the book for you. I listened to it on audible, but have now purchased the paperback for this year to re-read and highlight.

The Life-Changing Magic of Not Giving a F**K by Sarah Knight
Ok if you can put up with swearing (I can) and as the title suggests there is a lot. Then this is an amazing book for any people pleasers out there.
I highly recommend listening to this on audible as it is read so so well and had me laughing out loud as I can see myself in the story.
100% one for your list!
Not a Diet Book by James Smith
With it being January I thought I would put this in there. I actually listened to the audio and read the book in 2020 not last year. But this is one of the best books on eating healthy I have come across. With a no nonsense approach about it not being just another diet but a life style choice. It has changed the way I think about food.
The Happiness Project by Gretchen Rubin
This book we chose to do in my mindset membership group. It was a hit with everyone. A different way to look at happiness and to #BeMoreYou. I am currently working on a #BeMoreYou challenge for the photographers on my course.
I hoped you enjoyed my Best Books from 2021. I could list 100 books on here (well not quite that many as I didn’t read 100 lol) but you know what I mean. It was very hard to narrow down my choices.
My plan and goal for 2022 is to read a book a week – 52 books in the next year. I will make sure I blog about any I think you could all benefit from along the way. Choosing next years list is going to be interesting. I think there will be more than 5 on it.
