Best Life and Best Version of Me is my new intention for 2023.
Last year I could feel myself dropping the ball on my mindset and health. Covid hit me hard at the end of June and from there I started to allow things to fall apart (I am after all human and it is so easy to head back to default).

New Year’s Eve. An evening of celebration, looking back at the year with reflection. But sometimes we end up sitting there thinking how did we get here? What happened this year ensuring nothing changed? And a knowing that you don’t want to be sitting here next New Year’s Eve thinking the same!

It is time for us all to step into who we are and can be. To become the most successful, abundant, and happy versions of ourselves. To be moving toward our dreams, goals, and desires.
This year I will be writing about my story and how I make the changes to realign myself.

COMMIT
The first part of truly changing your life is to commit. Commit to becoming the best version of yourself and to creating the best life.
Make it your soul intention and make your goals align with this.
If you are part of the mindset membership I would advise you to complete the one-year story to kick-start you off. Following that work on the who I need to be worksheet second.
If you journal then write out on the first page:
I, (NAME) commit to being the best version of myself and living my best life.


small changes = long term gain
The best way to make changes this year is to focus on small changes.
Too often we sit down at New Year and decide to change everything at once. It is one of the reasons I am not a fan of New Year’s Resolutions and the whole New Year New Me movement. We can not change everything over night.
At the stroke of midnight, you are not suddenly going to have £1 million in the bank or be two sizes smaller. A bit of an over-exaggeration, but you know what I mean
If you truly want to end 2023 differently with a better life. Then small changes are for the win. Pick a couple of small habits you are going to work on for the first few weeks. If it helps here is mine:
5am wake-up
1 litre + of water a day
Gym – Three times a week
Be more aware of food choices
8 pm phone and screens off, start night time routine.
I have kept them simple and easy. I have my morning and evening routine planned out. Note that I am being more aware of my food and not yet pushing to count calories etc. Don’t make it too hard to start with or you will fight the change more.
