It’s a funny subject change. Sitting there complaining that nothing seems to change in our life. Going through the same experience, the same habits every day.
The thing is for life to change we need to change. Change can be one of the hardest things in the world.
To loose weight you need to change what you eat and how much you move your body.
So you want to increase your social media reach? Then creating better content or even for some of you get into a habit of posting!
Maybe getting out of debt or handling your money better is your goal. Changing how you feel about money is something to look at. Your beliefs, the financial habits you have and your unconscious choices.
BUT for some reason we struggle to do this. Instead we join the world complaining how hard things are, how change never happens to us. Instilling even more the beliefs we have in our brains that we can’t do something when maybe actually we can.

We think that we have to make change in a dramatic way. It has to be big, which is often setting yourself up for failure before you even start. Don’t try and change everything at once. Commit to changing one thing.
It could be eating healthier or walking more because those steps will get you healthier. Committing posting to social media every day or writing 4 blog posts a month.
How can we make change happen?
You can start by writing down a list of changes you would like to make. Some will be big and because of this you can maybe break these down into smaller tasks.
Not sure what you want to change? Then write a list of what you are not happy with in life. From there you will see what you want to change
Accountabilty
Over in the mindset course membership area we keep each other accountable. We look at what we want to achieve – Daily/Weekly/Monthly and even Yearly (not long to 2022). Having accountability can really help. You could find a friend who wants to make a change too and check in on each other daily or find a group (For my Fitness I joined the James Smith Academy and the challenges. The people in there and the instructors keep me accountable daily)
Tracking
Another great way to make change happen is to track the changes. An example is if you want to start posting to social media every day you can create a spreadsheet, print off a daily tracking sheet or download a tracking app for your phone.
By doing this you are keeping yourself accountable and ticking the boxes every day.
For my fitness I have a goal of a 33″ waist. Right now I track my calories and steps every day. Then measure and track my waits once a week because this helps me keep on track.
don't give up
Changing a lifetime or years of a certain habit is going to take time. You may not see the results you want straight away. It is possible you will slip up (Like me with the cake craving on Sunday)
Guess What. that’s ok! We are human, and born with the ability to make mistakes and learn. Don’t use the days you forget or give into the cake as an excuse to give up on the changes you want to make. Wipe that hour or day off, and then start again the next hour or day. Years of behaviors are being changes, so this will never happen in one day.
Reminding yourself of you why! Why are you doing this? To be happier? feel healthier? financially stable? buy your own house? live a life you love?
