The Power of Full Engagement – Book Review

The Power of Full Engagement – Book Review
by PhotographersMindset

The Power of Full Engagement was the second of my books for 2022.  With an aim of reading 52 books this year.  The first week saw me completing two.  This is the first one to go on the blog.

I can not recommend reading this book enough.  It has opened my eyes to looking at life as where you energy goes, instead of just your time.  Making me really look at the decisions I have been making.

Although in the back of my mind I knew I needed rest and recovery, this book cements it in a way you just can’t ignore it.  You are shown all the reasons why, including real life stories and examples of how making the changes improved the lives of others.

Not only did this book cover energy but habits (or rituals).  I loved the way they spun habits as positive rituals.  It made me re-think and feel more inclined to make the habit changes I need.  Who wouldn’t want to have positive rituals in their lives.  It sounds so much more exciting than calling them habits.

If you want to make changes to your life then this is a great guide on how to do it.  Giving you tips and tricks.  Also reminding you that you can’t change everything at once.  We have to use our energy wisely and make smaller changes to our lives.  One at a time.

The Power of Full Engagement is getting 5 stars from me!

The book is well structured and easy to follow.  Full of examples, quotes and studies to back up what they are saying.

I have several changes I am going to put into my life following reading this and I will let you know how they work and I get on.
