rolling with the challenges...
I just got back from an amazing day speaking at the photography show. The first talk on mindset was amazing and I came away buzzing. There was a couple of technical hick ups but none of it phased me and I was ready to go.
But then…..
The second talk which was a live shoot on stage with a motorcycle had a few more issues than the first and for some unknown reason (the Tech guys couldn’t work it out) The laptop initially connected to the screen but then nothing……. So no one could see what I was photographing.
I had less of a plan B for this session, but went freestyle and gave the audience as much information as I could using Instagram and me walking the light around the bike discussing why I was directing the light in certain directions.
At the end of my session a lovely audience member came up to ask me questions and chat. He mentioned how I hadn’t need to apologise so much for the issues…. I didn’t even notice that I did this. We had a chat about language and watching what you say.
I love that even though I implement and and have high awareness everyday that their are always lessons and always someone to remind you of the things you do not notice.
The lesson for today…. keep an eye on your language and make sure your not apologizing to much.
Own things you can’t control. As long as you do the best you can that is all that matters.
